Femi Jaiyeola
CRC Credit Bureau Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Femi Jaiyeola as a Non-Executive Director on its Board of Directors.
With the appointment, which has received the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Jaiyeola succeeds Dr. Gregory Ovie Jobome, who served as Non-Executive Director, and at various times, Chairman of the CRC Board, representing Access Bank’s long-standing institutional interest in CRC’s mission.
Jaiyeola, who currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer of Access Bank Plc, brings to the CRC Board, a distinguished career spanning over 25 years in the financial services industry, with deep and demonstrable expertise across risk management, regulatory compliance, internal audit, corporate governance and banking operations, accrued across leading financial institutions in Nigeria, Africa and Europe.
Expressing the Bureau’s delight at the appointment, its Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Tunde Popoola, noted that Jaiyeola’s extensive background in risk management, regulatory compliance and financial governance not only deeply aligned with CRC’s institutional mandate, but also adds a calibre of strategic insight that will be invaluable as the bureau continues to expand Nigeria’s credit infrastructure and deepen financial inclusion across the country.
“We equally take this moment to express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Gregory Jobome, whose leadership and dedication to CRC’s mission over many years have left an indelible mark on this institution.” Popoola added.
In his response, Jaiyeola expressed the delight at joining the Board of CRC Credit Bureau at such a consequential moment for Nigeria’s financial services landscape.
“CRC’s role in building the data infrastructure that underpins responsible lending is both critical and inspiring. I look forward to contributing my experience in risk, compliance and governance to support CRC’s leadership team as they continue to drive financial inclusion and credit access for millions of Nigerians,” he added.
