NMA 2026 will redefine marketing role, rethink established conventions – Organisers …Fix November 21 for Awards Ceremony

 

Organisers of the annual Nigerian Marketing Awards (NMA) have said the focus of this year’s edition of the Award is to enable marketers rethink established conventions, embrace new possibilities  and redefine the role of marketing in business and society.

 

The Founder of the Awards, Mr. Tony Agenmonmen stated this as he  disclosed he announced November 21, this year, as the date for the Awards, in Lagos.

 

He explained that the Award, tagged “Reimagine Marketing”, which would be partnering Amstel Malta, as the Headline Sponsor, will see the two brands united by the commitment to promoting excellence, innovation and celebration of outstanding achievement.

 

Former President of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) NMA, now in its fifth edition, as representing  an important milestone in the continuing journey to raising professional standards and celebrating the brands, agencies, campaigns, innovations and individuals shaping the future of marketing in Nigeria.

 

“Over four editions, NMA has consistently championed credibility, transparency and rigorous evaluation. Its independent judging process is led by the Awards Decision Council, comprising accomplished professionals selected for their experience, integrity and contributions to the marketing and communications industry.

 

“The fifth edition is more than an anniversary; it is a defining moment in our journey. It celebrates how far Nigerian marketing has come while challenging us to imagine how much further it can go.

 

“ The future will belong to brands and professionals who are prepared to question assumptions, embrace creativity and technology, understand people more deeply and demonstrate meaningful impact,” he added.

 

According to him, this year’s Awards will start on August 15 with the call for entries and will run till September 22, 2026.

 

He added that this year’s edition gives brands, agencies, organisations and marketing professionals the opportunity to vie for honours in 31 different  different categories of the competition.
