
Stanbic IBTC Bank has been honoured with the Best Trade Finance Bank in West Africa Award, at the Global Trade Review (GTR) Awards, held recently, in London.
The GTR (Global Trade Review) Leaders in Trade Awards, hosted annually to honour institutions that have demonstrated exceptional performance in their respective fields, recognises excellence in global trade, commodity, supply chain, export finance, and fintech sectors.
The Executive Director, Corporate and Transaction Banking, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Eric Fajemisin, described the award as highlighting the bank’s strong market position, and reinforcing its commitment to delivering exceptional services.
Reiterating the importance of trade finance in fostering economic development, Faejmisin described it as vital for the growth and sustainability of businesses, especially in emerging markets.
